It’s been a rough few months. This back injury has really turned my life around in a lot of ways. I recently described it in depth in my recent Medium piece that questions why America’s healthcare system is so utterly insane.
But, the news isn’t all bad…
I’m feeling much better. I’m still nowhere near 100%, but I’m much more capable of writing and, honestly, I think I’m much better now that I’ve had a break, even if it wasn’t one I wanted to take.
I still can’t work out.
The gym is off limits which is driving me mad, but I’ll get through it.
I’ve managed to assemble a few very interesting pieces and it looks like now is the perfect time to reopen paid subscriptions. One of them will cover how to deal with threesome jealousy, discusses whether we’re destined to lose sexual interest in our partners over time, and the other criticizes the media’s role in our sexual perceptions.
I’m incredibly thankful to those who reached out and those who donated to help me work through my current health issues. Seriously, it means the world to me.
Going forward, The Science of Sex is back and I plan on writing tons more interesting content as well as taking on the most important issues of today.
I’ll be doing audio and video articles again so if you’re not in the mood to read all the time, you can just relax and learn something new and interesting about human sexuality.
It’s time to return to the mission of educating the public on sex through the power of science.
Thank you for sticking with me through this. I paused the paid subscriptions because it’s totally unfair for me not to provide you the value you deserve—the value you’re paying me for. Now that I’m capable of doing that again, if you’d like to upgrade your membership from free to paid, you’re more than welcome to do so below.
