New Articles From The Science of Sex & Some Updates
The Sex in the Bible series has turned out to be quite popular so far. Here's the latest from The Science of Sex.
Hey, I hope this update finds you well.
In case you missed it, I’ve dropped a few new articles. I’m not sending emails with each and every article because I don’t want to overwhelm your inbox.
It’s much neater and more convenient (for you) if I take a few extra minutes and draft an update like this with the new articles and some recommendations so you can pick what you want to read.
Things are going well with The Science of Sex, and big changes at Medium have me focusing my time on this a lot more. I’ve done countless hours of research for the articles I’ve released this month, and several that are coming up shortly.
I’ve also booked another researcher and Sexologist as a guest on The Science of Sex Podcast next month. We’re going to break through the heteronormative mold and discuss sexual diversity at length, so stay tuned for that.

New Articles

These all can be found in the Sex in History section of The Science of Sex.
I take a scholarly, historical approach, making no claims about religion itself:
There is also the article I published about oral sex in the ancient world, covering ancient Greece and Rome. You can read that story here:
I also took this idea that dopamine is dangerous (it’s become a bit of a “buzz word” lately) and hit it head-on from a scientific perspective. No, you don’t have to rush and scrub your life clean of anything that might stimulate dopamine quite yet. The fear-bating hype is more fad than scientific fact:
