First off, thank you so much for subscribing to The Science of Sex. I’m proud to announce that we’ve rapidly built a community of people who want to learn and improve their sex lives.
It’s truly incredible to watch this project grow as quickly as it has. I hope this Substack publication will help reframe and revitalize the way you look at human sexuality.
Lately, I’ve released a lot of free articles (that can be found on Medium as well). I wanted to provide substantial content for everyone right out of the gate. Now, the time has come to pivot, and I’ll be releasing more exclusive, members-only content that can only be found here on Substack for paying subscribers.
Don’t worry, free articles will still be available and there are plenty more coming.
I know it irritates me when I’m reading an article and suddenly get hit with a paywall.
Going forward, I’ll be marking the exclusive articles when I send them, so you’ll know in advance if there’s a paywall before you commit yourself to reading an article.
Exclusive articles feature a paywall midway through, so you can always read a substantial portion of the article to get a feel for it, even if you’re a free subscriber.
The Substack app lets users know which articles are behind a paywall and which ones are free for the public. It has a stunningly clean user interface and I highly recommend it.
The latest members-only article was a deep dive into the facts and myths about penis size. Honestly, there’s a plethora of bad writing and an abundance of misinformation out there, so I wanted to clear things up.
This article takes a lot of surprising turns and brings some interesting science to light. It isn’t your average penis-size article.

If you have any suggestions or want me to cover a certain topic, there’s a suggestions form you can fill out here.
Last bit of news, I’m going to alternate between sending emails per article and sending weekly wrap-ups like this one. I don’t want to clutter your inbox, but at the same time, if I think a new article is truly fascinating, I’ll send it to you directly.
Thank you again for being a loyal subscriber.
Warm regards,
Joe Duncan
